Number One Favorite Stamp Set
As I have mentioned in a few blog posts, we are building a new home and I'm weeding through YEARS of stamps, but this is my Number One Favorite Stamp Set. How do I decide? I need a stamp set that is worth its weight in gold. I want a lot of value in anything I buy, especially a product that I know will last decades. Variety of images in a stamp set means that I can focus on just one stamp in the set and create with it.
You will see Awesomely Artistic show up in my cards fairly often, and I even did a "layer by layer" blog post on a quick and easy masking technique FOUND HERE. When it came right down to it, I kept about 30 stamp sets and sold everything else in a Fund Raiser on January 28th for Cavalier Rescue USA. That's who we work with, and that's where we got our precious Toby.
This simple little wonky panel in neutrals was dressed up with some Linen Thread criss crossing the panel and the sentiment from the stamp set popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals. The card base was embossed on the front part with the Brick Wall embossing folder.
These two cards show off the masculine color combination of neutrals, and what doesn't show up here is the splattering I did of Gold Wink of Stella. Guys or not, you gotta have some bling!
This is another card that I made LOADS of because I was headed to Convention and needed to have swap cards as well as my usual number for the month. It's one that looks harder than it actually is, so I did a "layer by layer" blog post on it FOUND HERE.
