While I was stamping the Crackle backgrounds, I decided to make two different Fixer Upper Handmade Card with Card Corsage. This one is a CASE from Mary Fish that I created with Soft Sea Foam card stock. I used the Gray Granite ink on the background, and then switched to black for the images and sentiment. This is a photopolymer stamp set called Varied Vases, and it has a fabulous Vase punch that coordinates with it to cut out three different vases, a leaf, and a tulip! This saves so much time, and is easy to line up.
I wanted some Birthday Cards this time, and I think the sentiment translates well for other occasions, too. I didn’t start out with this layout in mind, but with the width of adding the vellum Leaf punched layers, it ended up fitting better. I didn’t want to cover the little Sea Foam vase at all so I’ve scooted the sentiment banner over to just lap the stamped Vase. Two Stampin’ Dimensionals on the middle and right sides is all you need. The Tuxedo Black Memento ink really worked well here, don’t you think? In order to get the vellum to show up best on this background, I attached them with a Glue Dot to the die cut Stitched Circle and added my Stampin’ Dimensional right over it to pop it up on the card face a little. (You know how I like things to be loose and moving on the cards!)
On some of the cards, I left the sentiment off altogether so that my neighbors can use them for another occasion, too. I would love it if you pinned this image to your Pinterest Board, and leave me a comment to let me know it’s up there!
In your comments, let me know which card you make most often. I find the usual Portrait style is my “go to” layout, but this card just works so much better in Landscape, don’t you think? Let me know if you like this Fixer Upper Handmade Card with Card Corsage!
