Celia’s Paper Garden is all about making handmade greeting cards, and putting them in the mail. We want to convey volumes of love to the recipient that cannot come from social media, emails, or text messages. I will coach you on what to say inside the cards, too!

I have been a lifelong card sender and took up rubber stamp art in 1984 at The Happy Stamper in Denver, Colorado. I began making my own cards in 2008. In 2015 I changed the focus of my card making. I began to include everyone I thought could use some Happy Mail. During my time Scripture Journaling I wrote inside the cards and addressed envelopes. My own Kitchen Table Ministry was born!

My husband, Mark, and I live in Texas and have been married since 2006. We met later in life, so I gained five grown and flown stepchildren after retiring from Patient Resource Management at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. When not making cards, I enjoy gardening. I am an avid backyard birder, and that means my yard is full of song. I adopted a baby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from Cavalier Rescue USA following his two heart surgeries at Texas A&M. I call Toby my little nugget of love.
