It's been three years since I bought ink pads and markers, so I decided it was time to Organize and Clean Up. When my order arrived I filled the Combo Holders with all new product and placed my old sets in the delivery boxes to sort and donate.
Now that I have that Kitchen Island for all paper and ribbon cutting, My entire work space fits in a 5 foot by 5 foot work area!
I bought quite a few pieces of the Stamp-n-Storage line of their organizer systems before we moved here at the end of 2012. Back then I didn't have electrical outlets on my work surface to decorate around. For a long time, these outlets were covered up.
Today's system works much better. I have two Combo Holders, and still have five columns of Color Families.
I also bought the Kickstands to hike the pieces up off the countertop more than an inch. I can fit my grid paper under it pushed out of the way for that Masking Jig technique I showed you the other day.
I kept the large Lock Down Punch Holder unit. It's up on Kickstands, too, just so the units are all at the same height.
The Whale Tail Punch Holder fits at that same narrow depth and with the step down into my work surface to desk surface, I love how tidy everything is! There's even room for me to keep my day planner out and open right by the computer.
I needed a place to cut paper and use my Big Shot die-cutting machine, so I picked up a portable kitchen island at Ikea. There are wheels at one end, so if I need to, I can lift up and move it. The two stainless steel shelves also hold my Emboss Folder Storage and Wafer Die Storage.
I put an Ikea Alex drawer unit next to the island to hold my kits cut and ready for the next four classes.
It's important to know that you don't have to have a huge space to have a happy stamping place. I'm happier now and making more paper crafted cards, boxes, and treats than ever before. Take a look at Stamp-n-Storage and see if one of their Starter Kits is right for you!
