To Support Hurricane Harvey Relief,
Stamp-n-Storage is Donating 15% of all Sales
I am sitting here paralyzed by the footage that shows devestation every time I check Facebook or the television. Evacuees have come to our doorstep here in Georgetown for safety: a family of seven with four of their children enrolling in Georgetown schools, 38 adults from a Memory Care facility in Houston are now in Georgetown with another 10 coming to Pflugerville, and from individuals to main chain hotels, the help is there!
Wednesday afternoon I received an email from Brett that Stamp-n-Storage is donating 15% of all sales to Send Relief and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR). In his words:
“This last week, Hurricane Harvey has devastated southern Texas. As we continue to pray for our friends, we wanted to do more to help. Through Tuesday, September 5th, Stamp-n-Storage will donate 15% of all sales to SEND Relief. Your purchase will help provide warm meals, shelter and hope to the victims of Harvey.
“Send Relief and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) teams began responding before Hurricane Harvey made landfall, deploying hundreds of crisis buckets and sending other supplies that would be needed in the immediate aftermath of the storm. They have also been asked to assist in the care of up to 60,000 displaced Texans in addition to preparing thousands of hot meals and performing mud-out, chainsaw and cleaning services to restore survivors’ homes. SBDR teams will be on the ground for months to come caring for strangers, neighbors, families and friends.
“Be part of Christ’s love in action and continue to pray for those affected by Hurricane Harvey’s destruction.
If there is ANYTHING on your Shopping List you have been waiting to buy, now is a good time to invest in your organization of the studio. Might I suggest Magnet Cards? I buy all the same size: 6×7 cards and the Wafer Die Storage without lids. The Magnet Cards will hold any set of framelits/thinlits from any brand or comapny.
HINT: While you might be tempted to buy the Wafer Die Storage that is the largest, it is VERY HEAVY when full. Buy a small and a medium to prevent dropping it.
