Where Can I Use Alcohol Markers?

Girlfriend

22 May

I had a customer ask me, “Where Can I Use Alcohol Markers?”  The reason behind her asking is that, being new to alcohol inks, she didn’t know that alcohol bleeds through the coloring panel, and the inside of her Note Cards were all showing ghosts of the front coloring.

With the card design I have been working on, there were two ways to show her a solution, and ultimately it involves layering.  In this instance, I wanted a layer of white on top of the green layer, before adhering this to the pink background-stamped card base.

I’m using the thick white card stock exclusively any more, and it will still bleed through a bit.  Do any of you have a solution for Suzanne and her dilemma?
