Positive Thoughts & Beautifully Happy Team Up

One of the things I did back in March when I couldn’t think of what to do in the Nook was to just die cut a bunch of these panels. Positive Thoughts stamp set had a coordinating die set, and this rectangle has the most adorable stitched edge. Don’t you just love it?

I had no idea what I was going to do after cutting the panels. I was so stuck that it made me mad. The panels sat on my cutting station for a couple of weeks while I pulled one stamp set after another trying to find a design in my muddled head. I finally decided that I was going to keep with the Positive Thoughts stamp set and keep it simple. Super Simple.

The tiny Bee comes from the Beautifully Happy stamp set that was free during Sale-a-Bration last year. The sentiment came from the same set. The linen thread bow is something I started putting on my cards as my signature embellishment for lots of reasons. Firstly, it reminds me of the twine I used to mark my garden rows. It’s thin enough to easily move through the postal service without tearing a hole in my envelope.

These cards were just a little too plaiin for my taste so I made a few changes, and gravitated back to my favorite color: Mango Melody. Compared to any of the oranges I have had from Stampin’ Up!, it’s just the very best shade of orange! You will see those at the end of this week.
