Sending Smiles With An Old Favorite
Do you have an adorable stamp set but you can’t make it fill the visual? Use my favorite cure: a background stamp! I used my favorite background stamp from Artistically Inked because it is so beautifully distINKtive that it reads as a much lighter ink than the one I use! When you make cards, I want your experience to be fun and light without any frustration. Artistically Inked is still available at Stampin’ Up! and fits an acrylic block perfectly.
At the beginning of the year I sent a newsletter introducing Notable Note Cards to my subscribers, and told a little story about an old friend of mine, Anne Holmes. You can find that story HERE ON ANOTHER PAGE.
Anne is the reason I make and mail cards in bulk. But before Anne, I fell in love with sending and receiving letters, and sharing recipes through the mail. Back when I was in High School, I fell in love with getting real mail because of the correspondence I shared with my Great Aunt Viola.
Aunt “Vi” is the reason I created the online class, 4 Cards in 30 Minutes and you can find that story HERE ON ANOTHER PAGE. I want you to be able to make beautiful cards quickly and easily, and many of you haven’t been given measurements of layers like I include in my class. I want you to enjoy going to Stamp Camp with your friends where the card parts are given to you, and making the cards, but I also want you to be able to make them on your own. Thus, 4 Cards in 30 Minutes gets your cards in the mail as well as fills your basket of cards ready to send later. I give you all the measurements for multiple sizes of stamped panels. The best part is I show you step-by-step how to cut your card stock so you don’t have leftovers to save. That’s just wasteful, and it’s overwhelming to try and find “THAT LEFTOVER PIECE” later.
This adorable card is this month’s Notable Note Card and what I made on my day of creating in bulk. George, at Document Engine, made 1,000 note cards for me while printing my logo on the back panel. I am really happy making cards in bulk to have on hand for just about any occasion. This sentiment is from Honey Bee stamps in a great set of sentiments called “Mailbox Memos”.
