Adding Embossing to a Clean Card

Building, now, on the cards that we were making last week, I want to cover Adding Embossing to a Clean Card. I posted these in our Facebook private group, and then asked on Instagram, which do you prefer?

This Layered Leaves embossing got a few votes but was a resounding “NO” in most cases. Although, everyone admitted they loved the heavily embossed image, the two things didn’t work together: this stamped image, and this folder.

Using the Subtle embossing folder was a big favorite! Even Mark said this was his favorite one.

Therefore, I am making multiple sets of three to sell in the upcoming Spring Craft Sale. Three cards and envelopes in a package this Spring will make this a perfectly timed card set — with all different sentiments!  Have you seen the stamp set I had made for me by Bossy Joscie?

Leave a comment and let me know which embossing folder you like in this contest of Adding Embossing to a Clean Card!

  1. Definitely the subtle card for my favorite. Although both are very nice, I like the clean “un-busy” 9if there is such a word) look. The eye is drawn to the sentiment with the wrapping of the twine, to direct your vision down. Very nice card.
