Blue Plate Special

I’ve spent the full morning with business between Sizzix and Stampin’ Up! trying to solve the issue of our thick and 3D and Textured Impressions embossing folder, and there ARE SO MANY good folders out there. So, the short answer is found in your original tabbed platform! Sizzix sent me a video from 2018 when we had the really thick embossing folders at Stampin’ Up!

When Stampin’ Up! issued a platform without tabs, but with a thin die adapter, we thought our issues were solved. And space was saved on our work tables.

Then the emboss folders got more impressive, excuse the pun. The solution was to eliminate the cutting plates and buy the blue plate you see in this picture.  This still works! This still works with the newest thick emboss folders, too!

But what if you didn’t buy the blue plate when I told you to?
