Adding Embossing to a Clean Card
Building, now, on the cards that we were making last week, I want to cover Adding Embossing to a Clean Card. I posted these in our Facebook private group, and then asked on Instagram, which do you prefer?
This Layered Leaves embossing got a few votes but was a resounding “NO” in most cases. Although, everyone admitted they loved the heavily embossed image, the two things didn’t work together: this stamped image, and this folder.
Using the Subtle embossing folder was a big favorite! Even Mark said this was his favorite one.
Therefore, I am making multiple sets of three to sell in the upcoming Spring Craft Sale. Three cards and envelopes in a package this Spring will make this a perfectly timed card set — with all different sentiments! Have you seen the stamp set I had made for me by Bossy Joscie?
Leave a comment and let me know which embossing folder you like in this contest of Adding Embossing to a Clean Card!
I love the Subtle Embossing. It gives the card an understated elegance! Good job!
Definitely the subtle card for my favorite. Although both are very nice, I like the clean “un-busy” 9if there is such a word) look. The eye is drawn to the sentiment with the wrapping of the twine, to direct your vision down. Very nice card.
Thank you Linda! It’s always so nice to hear from you, too! I’m glad you liked it.
