Handmade Coffee Card Idea

I have been working on this Handmade Coffee Card Idea for a number of weeks, long after spotting it made by another card artist last year! Not my usual Clean and Simple card at all, but sometimes this sentiment is exactly what you need.

I’m sending a couple of them out as a “Get Well” kind of card, and I gave one to our postal delivery person because we’ve had some bitterly cold days here (for Texas). Her card had a Starbucks gift card inside.

Lots of layers on this card, and I used the Big Shot die-cutting machine to cut as well as emboss two layers of paper elements. Then, I used three punches to cut the leaves, and the sentiment in a circle. I used mostly liquid glue putting the cards together except for two areas: I elevated the coffee cup to slip those leaves under, and I used a single Dimensional on the sentiment for the area that hangs off the focal Card Corsage.

If you are in the Card Making SIG here in Sun City, you will see this card used as an example for the Big Shot class. The Big Shot does so much for me! Even though I use punched pieces on a lot of my cards, those embossing folders are making me so glad I bought my Big Shot more than ten years ago, and I’m still using the same one!

Leave me a comment and tell me what else you would use Handmade Coffee Card Ideas for: birthday, sympathy, etc……
