Happy New Year!
Early in 2016 my friend, Robin Merriman, finally convinced me to start journaling scripture with her. We used the plan from Shannon at Sweet Blessings. I think it was probably 2 days into February when I felt complete peace about my future, and I was feeling much better after getting our HVAC system removed and replaced.
I adopted Proverbs 16:3 as my scripture to guide me as I felt better and more energetic and wanted to do more with my stamping to bless others. As I look back over the past several months, I still just shake my head at the ALL the changes my family has gone through in 2016, including the decision to build a new home!
For 2017, we are adopting Isaiah 43:18-19. Kind of comical in one way, because we are leaving quite a bit behind. We are downsizing into 1600 square feet. We're losing a lot of lawn and for that we are grateful because the yard we're gaining will be mostly "not grass" and will be all about the birds, butterflies, bees and hummingbirds that we enjoy watching and nurturing. I'm leaving Stampin' Up! behind as I embrace The Dandelion Society and work only in that capacity. The day planners that I've been publishing at www.DirectSalesPlanner.com will be narrowed down to only those for the Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.
Now, before you get on the phone and cry that I'm leaving Stampin' Up!, let me tell you that while I will remain a Demonstrator, my focus will be strictly making and teaching gift packaging and cards for The Dandelion Society. Stampin' Up! still carries the only products that I'm interested in using! Quality is at the top of my list for the creation of Keepsakes of Kindness, so I don't need to visit any stores and I've stopped looking for discounts and coupons.
Write to me, leave a comment, call me, come on over …. 2017 is going to be very exciting!
Happy New Year, y'all!
