Rings Of Love Thanksgiving Card

I bought three different kinds of Designers Series Paper, but I love Rings Of Love the best for Thanksgiving cards! It was one of the free papers included in this Autumn’s Sale-a-bration and I’m so glad that I snagged it!

Just look at how lovely this page is! Whimsical, bright, every color you can hope for, and it is a 12×12 pad. Bonus! The 12×12 pads allow us to 12 cards per sheet, as I have done with this card.

Cut your sheet in half … and pay attention that this is a “Directional Print”. Directional means that there is an upside and an upside down or sideways. I didn’t bother to trim the length, just cut the strips 2″ x 6″ and I’ll show you how to work that out below:

I left the bottom edge hanging over and trimmed after. This way I’m only trimming once, and I also have complete coverage from top to bottom of the card edges. Every once in a while I cut my card bases larger and my DSP ends up short, so this method works so well!

Here’s another time you might want to have Crafty Corners. Trying to line up the stamped panel after layers that aren’t exactly square, you can use them even with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

If you have any questions about sketches or measurements that I haven’t covered here, please leave a comment! I love hearing from you!

  • Crumb Cake card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
  • Poppy Parade layer 5″ x 3-3/4″ embossed with Tree Rings
  • Basic White regular thickness die cut with Deckled Rectangles die
  • Inks used: Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede

  1. Your card is just DARLING Celia! LOVE IT! I LOVE the Ringed with Nature Bundle that you used to create your card. You didn’t mention what stamp set you used so I went looking and found it in the July-December Mini Calalog. It’s now on my wish list! BTW I also LOVE our layout! I need to give this a try. 🙂
