Sheltering Tree Swirly Bird Sunshine
Last month, when I made some "I Just Moved" Note Cards for my friend, they turned out so cute I decided to make a bunch more, and I'm calling them Sheltering Tree Swirly Bird Sunshine cards.
There are three things I like about this card:
1. White panel is 3-3/4" x 5" which leaves 1/4" of color showing around the edges. This is a great way to show off a beautiful and strong color in other seasons, too, while keeping your card face free for stamping.
2. The Tree Builder punch is so stinkin' cute! With the options of things to hang in the tree, I can see myself making December thank you cards using the bird and the raindrop to create Partridge In A Pear Tree note cards! Anyone else see that raindrop as a pear?
3. All occasion universatility. Is that actually a word? Well, you know what I mean. These cards fall into the 4 Cards in 30 Minutes #keepsakesofkindness category perfectly, and that means you can make plenty of them for the Card Organizer and just add the sentiment needed at the time of mailing!
Products used are all Stampin' Up! (because you know I'm in a relationship with them) and include:
Stamps: Sheltering Tree, Swirly Bird
Paper: Sahara Sand, Whisper White Thick cardstock, Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Soft Suede
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Cajun Craze
Tools: Tree Builder punch, Fine Tip Glue pen, Glue Dots, Simply Scored*, Paper Trimmer
* You know I score all my cardstock BEFORE cutting in half, right?
