Timeless Textures With a Card Corsage

This is a very quick, VERY QUICK, version of using the stamp set, Timeless Textures with a Card Corsage

timeless textures, card idea, celia's paper garden, card corsage, corsage, corsages, card

I grabbed three ink pads in the same color range and added the Smokey Slate to shadow my punched out sentiment. The splattered ink stamp was used with the "generational stamping" method where you ink up and stamp two to three times before inking up again. I'm pretty sure the sentiment comes from the A Dozen Thoughts And Many More stamp set. Let me know if you need to know for certain.

Once I can get some of the new Designer Series Papers, I can see this card redone with a sidebar of DSP plus a sliver of glimmer paper to bump these cards up a notch while still keeping them Card Corsage cards in the 4 Cards in 30 Minutes class.

Would you like to receive one of these?

I have been working on this Handmade Coffee Card Idea for a number of weeks, long after spotting it made by another card artist last year! Not my usual Clean and Simple card at all, but sometimes this sentiment is exactly what you need. I’m sending a couple of them out as a “Get Well” kind…

I may never leave the February 2016 Scripture Journaling plan from Sweet Blessings. That month last year taught me the importance of slowing down not only my activities, but my mind. Staying busy had kept me from hearing His lead and Stampin’ Up!-ness had kept me from following Him. Would you like to join me…

  2. Good morning Celia!! What a quick, simple, and sweet card! Love the colors! The sentiment isn't from A Dozen Thoughts (p. 107 AC) but I haven't any idea which stamp set it's from. I'm totally sad this set is retiring as I LOVE the Just Becuase sentiment that is in a beautiful cursive font!
