Everything But The Iris

This card came as a real surprise to me. It’s the stamp set, Inspiring Iris, but I used stamps that are also in that set NOT IRIS. Also, don’t let it get away from you that the stamp set has very fine line outlines of all these images, too.

Because we’re working with velum, I went with Scotch brand double sided tape to attach the panel to the Crumb Cake, and the smaller panel to the velum. I’m still looking for the perfect adhesive for our humidity, and this is it. Liquid glue attached the stamped panel to the Flirty Flamingo, and Dimensionals popped that sentiment up over the thread.

Do you like it?

STAMPS: Inspiring Iris and an old Paper Pumpkin sentiment

PAPER: Crumb Cake, Velum, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White

INK: Mango Melody, Soft Saffron, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo and then the sentiment was stamped in ….. a retired ink called Tip Top Taupe (who else is crying with me to bring this color back?!?)

EXTRA: Linen Thread; wrap it around that white panel twice and tie a bow!
