Happy Christmas 4×4

While we are burning up here in August, I had the Team create these Happy Christmas 4×4 cards.

We needed card samples that would appeal to those who like to make 60 Christmas cards each year, and this one was fabulous! It starts with 8″ x 4″ Real Red card stock, so you’ll get a nice 3″ x 8-1/2″ piece left over for another project I’ll be showing you in a few days.

Using this photopolymer stamp set made is super easy to stamp the green acent lines exactly where we wanted them!

The ribbon has an easy overlap so we put the scalloped oval onto the embossed card front with Tombow glue, and popped up the die cut sentiment on Dimensional. Putting it together this way lets you overlap the ribbon with a glue dot to hold them, and two more glue dots to attach to the center of that scalloped oval. BONUS TIP: you don’t have to nip the ribbon off the roll until it’s attached in place and save a lot of little snips!

The best idea of this card is that the photopolymer stamp set, Oh What Fun, is FULL of sentiments that you can use on cards, tags, packaging, and churns out everything this season. 17 stamps in this set. Take a look, and buy your set today!

  1. These cards are sooo cute! It would be fun to have a few in my purse to give little “love notes” to waiter, Post Office person, pastor…whoever the Lord lays on my heart to bless that day. Don’t you LOVE the Garden Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon??? I think I need the other colors too:)

    1. Thanks Katy! I do think I should get more ribbon, too. That crinkled seam binding is so luxurious, I’m going back for another color or two.
