Wanna Be Ready for Oodles of Card Making?

Score your card stock in half BEFORE cutting in half the other direction. This stack shows 200 card bases cut to the measurements of 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, and set in mini-stacks of 20 each. I heard the term recently, “hamburger” cuts. When your card bases are 4-1/4″ x 11″ the term is “hot dog”. I never cut my bases the hot dog way – but I know lots of people who do!

The next thing to do is to gather your envelopes and place them in the same shoebox with these card bases. As you stamp cards 4 at a time, decorate your envelopes, too. HINT: if you color the images you’ve stamped on the envelopes with alcohol markers of any kind, place a scrap of card stock inside the envelope to avoid the bleed through going to the back of your envelope.
