While I was in the Hospital last month, I was willingly without internet and social media, and I got to thinking about A LOT OF THINGS! I was so grateful for God’s healing hands through everyone that cared for me, from EMTs in the ambulance, to nurses and the abundance of surgeons that were concerned for my horrible lab results. Y’all!!! We are so blessed in this country!

Here’s something I realized: It was fifty years ago last month that I accepted Christ as my Savior in Joshua, Texas. We moved from San Diego to a city with a population of 900. I came from a High School of 3,500 students to a TOWN of 900! The only thing to do in the Summer was go to a Baptist Revival, so I went. The messages spoke of a love and assurance I had never known, and He has been in me, I living in His promises ever since.

Fifty years.  I’m old enough to be able to look back and see Him answering prayers for a long time!

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. … for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-10

    1. Thank you, Sally! I was hesitant to share that, but it’s only because we’re in a spiritual battle. Sending love and hugs to N84!
