What’s On My Desk This Morning?

Not hard to imagine what’s on my desk this morning when you realize that I’m all about flora and fauna. These Note Cards have been on my mind since I saw that Two Tone Flora stamp set AND the coordinating dies, are going to be in the new catalog.

Cards that I made on the 25th of April will be flying out the door this month to my customers and Card Ministry recipients. Two Tone Flora is a “flashback” to Stippled Blossoms from many years ago. I still have that wood-mounted set, so that’s what I used!

What you need to know about Two Tone Flora:

This is a two-step stamping stamp set. One for a background color, and one for detail. There are seven images that provide background color, and seven that will add lines. As with two step stamping, there are three ways to two step:

  1. Use the same ink pad for both images, just “stamp off” to lighten the colored portion, and full strength for the detail lines
  2. Use two different ink pad colors
  3. Use just the line drawing image

Two Tone Flora has maximized the best part of the old set by giving us FOUR different sizes of florals. Great investment! And there are dies to cut out the florals, too. 15 Stamps in this set will help you take one of my Note Cards and make it into a Clean And Simple A2 card. And just think about how you can create your own Designer Series Papers!

  1. One thing I noticed this time about your beautiful note cards is how you carried over the cover focal point to the back of the card! Genius! It softens the back were you put your stamp and bring the focal to front and back. Love it!
